Class Descriptions

Intro to Yoga: This 6 week session introduces students to the basic yoga poses. This is the perfect place for new students to begin and a great refresher for students that have not practiced in a while. This class is also ideal for students that prefer a slower pace.
Level 1-2 Yoga: This 6 week session will add on to the concepts learned in the Intro to Yoga session. Postures will be held for longer times in order to build strength and stamina & Sun Salutations will be introduced.
Level 2-3 Yoga: Designed for students with prior yoga experience; this vigorous class will challenge your strength, flexibility, and stamina. Students should be comfortable practicing sun salutations.
Open Level Yoga: Open level classes are suitable for students who have knowledge of the basic yoga poses. Classes consist of the practice of well-aligned yoga postures and proper breathing to develop strength, flexibility, stamina, and balance of body, as well as relaxation and meditation techniques to encourage calmness & clarity of the mind. All abilities are accommodated and challenged with the use of modifications and props.
Pilates Mat Program: The purpose of this class is for participants to learn Pilates mat program principles and techniques in a structured, but progressive environment. This class is appropriate for beginner and novice Pilates performers, and anyone interested in an exercise program that focuses on core control, posture and flexibility. Class size is limited to optimize instructor and participant interaction.
Private Instruction: We are available to teach students individually or in a group setting at your location or ours. These lessons will be geared towards an individuals needs or the needs of a particular group. Please call to set-up an appointment. 618-670-4356.
